I like the animations on the player, especially the way the arms move when it finds the ghost and destroys them. I think the music is fun and makes the game feel like a ghostbusters-type adventure.

I liked how the map view helped make the player feel more aware of the world, but I had a hard time orienting myself when I was looking at it–maybe draw an arrow over the player pointing the direction it’s facing?

You have a really neat concept for your game and the feel works really well. I like the atmosphere you’ve created with the room and the sounds as well as the shaking in the avatar. The particle effects on the ghosts are really nice too. I’d just maybe change up the movement of the avatar to really drive home how scared they are.

Also the fog in the room sort of adds a spooky element to it. It sort of feels like something is going to pop out at any moment. The second camera angle also adds an interesting component to the game.

The only thing I might be able to say in terms of improvement would be that I did notice that when you start walking, the scared oscillating movement of the character body seems to go away and the player is left with sort of a static motion of the character as it moves throughout the game world. Maybe add some interesting walking animations to continue to sell the feel as you move through the rooms.

The atmosphere is very spooky and the limited light makes me kind of scared to go anywhere. The very best part is the first time you approach the chair in the corner of the dark room. You don’t know what it is but you know there is a ghost there!

The shaking of the player does a great job portraying the feeling you are going for. I also really like your background music. I think the only thing that needs improvement are the walls. Perhaps a spookier texture or something to go on the blank walls would go a long way. Good work!

Good music, I like the top down/vs third person perspectives. On-screen controls were very nice. The perspective felt a little awkward, just because it’s off-center from the avatar. It might be nice to be able to rotate the camera manually.
