I think the sliding feel is really well implemented and the avatar feels as the player expects it too. My only feedback would be to add some polish perhaps with the collisions, but otherwise very well done!

The game’s playable area is huge, but only a small portion of it is the steep downhill that works well for penguin sledding. It would be nice to have a longer slope to go down. I like the feel of the jump, but I feel like I am cheating myself out of most of the sledding run when I take it. There is a tendency to get stuck when the penguin collides with scenery. The scenery looks good. There are an impressive number of trees.

I think it turned out well. It’s certainly fun to play. When you start going sufficiently fast, the game becomes almost frantic as you’re trying not to bump into any of the trees. I also like how the camera seems to jitter a bit when you start going fast (maybe this is just a result of the character bumping off the ground). The downhill movement and controls are also very satisfying. I think in terms of polish, some particle effects coming off the character would put a nice touch on the game.

The penguin’s movement was natural except when I collided on a rock. It started to glitch when I collided so it would be nice if you fix that part a little bit. Also adding sound effects would be great to add more game feel to this prototype. Good job on the physics! It must’ve been difficult to create a downhill movement..

I think with some more polish like sound effects and maybe a trail of snow in the penguin’s wake would make this really fun.
