Its flashlight combined with the tapping footsteps immediately turned it into a omniscient entity! The little step sound effects and rotations of the boxes also worked very well! The flashing particles immediately gave me a sense of goal, especially compared to the darkness of the world. I was expecting a bit more out of the animations of the main character, maybe some sort of waddle, it just seemed to plain in comparison with the character of the boxes. The concept though is very novel. If you turned this into a real game there would be endless opportunities for puzzles!

Overall the feel of the game works very well. Graphics convey what object the spirit can interact with, where the robot needs to be to avoid being seen and what the mood of the situation is. The audio works pretty well for conveying the mood of the game. I guess ways you could improve the game feel would be to tweak attack and decay curves to add a personality to the character’s movement. Also, some polish to make the spirit mode more “ghosty” might be nice. Nice job on the game!

I like the sound effect coming from the robot it is very ominous. The spirit idea is definitely unique and I am interested in seeing where the game will go from here. The only improvement I would make would be to the camera it got a bit difficult to control.

The ghost concept is really neat, a decidedly different take on the traditional puzzle solving. The stark background and dirty-looking boxes with dark background lighting gives a sense of entrapment and danger. The ticking noise of the robot’s walking feet and the flashlight being the only light source in the dark room helps to create an eerie and rushed sense in the player. I like the different feels you added to the light brown boxes of different sizes and weights, emphasizing the dynamic switching through different object feels. However, the patrolling robot looks really friendly so I ran into him and died. Maybe if he looked more beat up, angry, or had mean eyebrows, then that will make it more clear to whoever’s playing this game which enemy object to avoid. Also, are the robot’s eyes really glowing as you’ve said? I can’t tell due to the full bright flashlight. Even adding other movement interactions with objects instead of just jumping and moving would have added some gaming fun! Having the capability of restarting the game would have been nice after seeing an indication of losing/winning instead of having to refresh the page again and again.

Rather than simply jump and move, you can have interactions with objects that makes the game more fun. The game feel is perfect, with the puzzle and a little horror fee, since the room is really dark. The game is definitely playable and worth a try. 10/10 IGN
