By far the best part is the fly swatter. I was actually terrified the first time I saw it and didn’t know what it was from my tiny spider point of view. The red light does a great job of making it ominous.

My only complaint (and it took me a while to come up with this) is that the dizzy movement is annoyingly hard to control. I realize this may have been the point, but perhaps toning it down could still get the point across while maintaining the ability to navigate.

Your movement animations are incredible, very well done.

The extra polish like the lighting and musics also do a great job adding to the overall feel. I especially like the lighting. However, I might have switched the day/night feels. I feel like as a spider I would be move comfortable at night and scared of the fly swatter during the day!

Overall, incredible work!

I love the concept and the game mechanics to begin with and both game feels are accomplished quite thoroughly. For scared and nimble – the movement and shaking animations really help establish the feel. My only suggestion, like some people have already mentioned, would be to make the interactions with real world objects a little more akin to the scared-nimble feel (like not allowing the avatar to push boxes so easily). For dizzy and joyful – I particularly think the dizzy part was done really well. The camera movement and inability to walk completely straight drives it home. The happy face and the jump animation does help with the joyful feel, but I think you could add a little more to introduce that joyful element. Background noise and music is also very aptly chosen. Great work!

The animations and control changes clearly show how the avatar’s feelings change as you switch between modes! I like the color scheme changes, and the flyswatter is an awesome touch. I noticed that in mode 1 the player can easily shove the cubes around, which I don’t think fits in with the “nimble” feel, but besides that, it’s awesome. Good work!

The theme is amazing. The environment is massive and immersive. The avatar looks great and gives a lot of room for applying the game feels. The extra objectives (flies) and enemy (swatter) are also very unique. The music for both feels make sense and enhances the mood. There is very little room to improve this “prototype”, this is an amazing job.

Feel 1:
The nervous looking around and shaking animations perfectly show the scared feel, along with the face. The sneaky moving sound effect and increased speed are also great for nimble effect, but jumping could maybe also be enhanced?

Feel 2:
The dizzy effect makes the game a bit harder to control, but does fit the feel. The flying spinning and happy face show off the joyful game feel perfectly. You could have possibly used the camera to further define the dizzy feel.

I am having trouble finding anything to criticize. The idle movements in both modes really helps sell what they are suppose to. I can tell he is scared from his shaking and happy from the way he dances. I do not need any polish effects to try and understand when it trying to be portrayed. Its very easy to tell how well the spider moves in mode 1 how he easily climbs walls and objects and jumps around. And I love how in the second mode he spins around when you press space and the way his movement is all wonky help show how dizzy he is. This is very well done.

Very well done. The way the camera moves and just the straight up level of polish makes this a really good game. Even down to the little sounds the feet make when they touch the ground also help to sell the feeling you were going for. I think one of the real things that sets this one apart is the fact that it’s actually fun to play. I found there was an element of amusement walking vertically up a wall or chair. The animations were also very satisfying. The fly swatter also gives you a reason to keep moving.

The whole thing was just really nicely done. I’m having a hard time coming up with something that felt lacking in the experience. I think just about the only thing that I could say is that movement sometimes feels slightly clunky in some situations. But then again that might just be part of the dizzy game feel you were going for.

All in all, a very nice game.
