I love the sound effects, the snow effects, the yeti animations, the skating effect. Everything about this is great. It is so easy to tell from the start that this is a yeti that is joyful simply from the first jump. The only thing I would think you could possibly add was what kernel above me posted and this is to add more to the yeti but for the scope of this project it is completely unnecessary as you can easily tell it is a yeti already. Great job!

The moment I jumped with the yeti, both the animation and the sound effect clearly communicated that the yeti was joyful. Sliding across the ice blocks add a nice touch to this feeling because the way it slides makes it seem very playful. I was also impressed with the snowing effect, because the game did not solely rely on the textures to create a cold environment. One possible improvement is to add fur to the yeti. But overall, this is great!

The way the Yeti ice skates everywhere he goes and throws up his arms when jumping gives it a lot of personality. The mountains in the background and overlap of different objects in the scene give it a sense of depth and the snow adds to that as well. The only thing that I would say is going against the feel of joyfulness would be in the lighting. While snow has a magical feel in it’s self, the black sky in the background brings an ominous vibe to the scene. The silence when the character isn’t jumping adds to that a little bit as well. Some upbeat music and a brighter color for the sky would really pull together the desired mood.
