The avatar moves fluidly and the climbing mechanic works nicely. Background effects definitely add to the notion that the avatar is in fact a monkey, but there is little else to suggest a sense of joyfulness.

The idea and movement of the monkey are great. The way the monkey climbs the tree is intuitive and the concept is easy. I had a problem with getting on the branch and then being able to move back and forth on it so that I could get the fruit. While trying to get to it, I fell off the branch and landed at an angle so the monkey now moved at weird angles. Those parts could use some tweaking but overall I think you did a great job!

I think you did a very nice job in handling the climbing aspect of the monkey. The camera is positioning appropriately and the actual climbing seems fluid. Being able to change the viewing angle while on a branch is a nice effect too. The environment is very suitable for a monkey and the way he controls conveys to me that he is joyful. Overall i think you did a stellar job!

I really love the climbing you have created here. The avatar’s movement feels quick and lively, and he interacts smoothly with the trees. The camera shift that occurs when you get onto branches is excellent and makes them easy to deal with. The audio is also nice and energetic, and all the sound effects the monkey makes are on point. The avatar itself leaves a bit to be desired, and the environment besides the trees is a bit sparse. Overall through, I’s say this is a successful joyful monkey.
