The distinction between the elf and the machine is obvious. The sound effects suit both very well. I really like the sound effect of the elf mode when it jumps.

The elf has a better control than the machine. It is smooth and easy to control. Whereas the machine is still easy to control but the speed is a little slow, it takes quit a while to get from point A to point B. I wish the machine travels farther in the x direction when jumping, because I ended up hitting my head every time. But I like that it jumps higher when you hold spacebar longer.

It lacks polish but the sound made up for it. I ended up playing the elf most of the time because I had a really hard time to get the machine jump to another platform. Nonetheless, I enjoyed playing it.

I am glad that you could control him in the air, this gave the game better game feel. I also like the sound used for jumps. I wish the animations were different for the elf instead of the default given animation. Overall though, the sounds and movement convinced me I was playing as an elf.

Second, the machine had a cool mechanic with the thrusters. I also like the sounds that went with the thrusters. The combination of the thruster movement and the sound effects created polish that gave game feel. I definitely felt like I was playing with a machine and overall it was a fun mechanic.

My main criticism is that there was no use of coloring or textures. That would have added extra polish giving more game feel. In the end, it was fun to play.

He floats down like Marry Poppins with an umbrella. There’s also too much control in air for it to feel natural. I liked the use of Link’s voice for the jumps.

The heavy character feels excellent. It really reminds me of the Rocket Nozzle from Super Mario Sunshine. The whole game could use some visual polish though; particle effects could have really sold the thrusters.

The elf has light feeling and the machine has heavy feeling. The movement is smooth and responsive. It falls faster even when I change to machine avatar in the air. And the movement of the elf is cute! It would be also good if you added some visual effects like adding different colors for the two avatars.

The glidey movement that you can do on the elf while it is in the air is a nice addition which really does make it feel like a nimble, quick, and mobile character in contrast to the machine which doesn’t. The real time control is also very smooth and responsive to input commands. However, I feel that the toy is very visually lacking. There’s so sort of visual cue as to which avatar is which. I would suggest adding something that indicates a difference between the two such as animations, particles, or even background/color.

I can nearly do infinite jumps and double jumps with the mechanical player if I press space bar half way through falling. Not sure if that was intentional but thought I should mention it. The two feels compliment each other nicely.
