You really did a great job capturing the more annoying aspects of elves with that animation. Also the Machine slow upward movement coupled with the way it plummets to the ground when the hover device is deactivated really makes the movement feel heavy. You really nailed the movement aspects, and the sound effects are fitting, but I think it could have really benefited from some background art work, or some more color.

The two avatars have obvious visual cues that make them appear different and it appropriately matches the feel of the avatar.

I like the climb mechanic on the elf and how he/she jumps, it feels quite light like i’d expect. The machine also feels heavy and I like the idea that it needs a device to hover due to its weight.

The polish you did was great, the avatars look and sound good and the camera following around the avatar was a nice a touch. The uniqueness of the two avatars did a great job at conveying the intended character movement feels.

The climp/hover creates nice ways to explore the scene. Another good aspect is that the mechanisms also does not lock the horizontal movement. However, while controlling the machine I was unable to lift again in case the up button, or spacebar, is released. The camera’s behavior was also well done.
About the simulated space the collision with walls and plataforms works well. Especially, by making the elf able to also climb plataforms.
Finally, the polish is good, with animations and sounds while jumping, and the sound while using the hover, but these polish effects could have been more explored in order to help you convey the expected game feels.

(impressive, considering it’s a block and an elf). Also it was great how you introduced surprises, such as the hovering and the wall-climbing.
I gotta agree that some bounds would be a good idea, even though it is rather entertaining to watch the elf flip away into an abyss.

Also, having the elf climb walls was neat too. However, there should have been some bounds or the elf falls forever if you go off the edge. Also, I liked how that elf and robot were so different and it helps give a unique feel to each one.
