The fact that you actually built entire characters (including a jetpack for the bigger guy!) adds a lot to the feel.

As for real time movement of the players, I think you got it partially right. I would have liked more if the players were controllable during the jump. In fact, the bigger/heavier character is controllable while using the jetpack but the smaller nimble player can’t move during jump at all. Besides that, both characters do accurately reflect their weights and have a good feel.

Sound would have added to the feel of the gameplay a good bit. Next time I would add sounds for at least jumping, and landing. In this one, I would of loved to of been able to hear the jetpack as you soar through the air.

The lack of control when falling felt super restricting. Also, I feel like you really couldn’t tell the difference between one being light vs heavy while they were falling, but while jumping and moving on the ground it was super obvious and well done.

Good job!

I especially like the robot avatar. Even though it is a very simple image I really got the feel of a heavy hard to move creature. I really like how the screen rumbles while you walk around. It really compliments his slow movements. The elf has a good feel too. Initially I felt that he should be falling faster. This would help give him a quick nimble feel. But after playing I can see you were going for more of a floaty character. overall looks great!

The larger gray model for the robot and the small colorful model for the elf really give contrast to the two modes. The robot certainly feels mechanical and the elf feels very light. The camera shake for the robot give it a sense of power as well. There are a few aspects that take away from gameplay. The elf might feel a little more sprightly with side to side control in midair and the robot still feels like it floats too much sometimes. Also the robot cannot move side to side while falling. Changing these small things might make what is a fun and certainly different two modes that much better. Sound could make a difference too!
